Jagruthi Youth Association had conducted BHARAT PRIDE 2022. This event was held at ANURAG UNIVERSITY from March 9th to 12th, 2022, and proved to be a resounding success in promoting the growth of Indian science, technology, and industry.
The inauguration of BHARAT PRIDE 2022 took place on March 9th, 2022, with the presence of esteemed guests including Shri. Naveen Mittal, IAS, Addl. Commissioner, Higher Education & Technical Education, Telangana, Shri. Palla Rajeshwar Reddy (MLC, Govt of Telangana), Chairman of Anurag University, Mrs. Nelima, CEO of Anurag University, Professor S Ramachandram, Vice-Chancellor of Anurag University, and Mrs. Syeda Sameen Fatima, Registrar of Anurag University. Their attendance added immense value to the event, highlighting the significance of fostering scientific and technological progress in India and nurturing future leaders in these fields.
BHARAT PRIDE 2022 witnessed the active participation of various esteemed organizations, including the Ministry of Science and Technology, Ministry of Earth Sciences, Ministry of Social Justice, Ministry of Culture, Department of Atomic Energy, Department of Space, Ministry of Coal, Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, and Ministry of Mines. and many other Central and State Department stalls. These organizations, along with others such as Atomic Minerals Directorate (AMD), CSIR, ECIL, NFC, MECL, IMD, NIOT, BPL, SCCL, NCSM, NIEPID, and the Department of Science, Technology and Environment, Puducherry, showcased their innovative contributions to scientific and technological advancements in India.
The event featured a total of 160 stalls, representing 63 ministries and departments, providing a comprehensive overview of India's scientific and technological landscape. More than 2 lakh people had the opportunity to visit the Expo and gain firsthand insights into the scientific contributions made by Indian S&T and R&D organizations. The stalls showcased a wide range of cutting-edge technologies, including artificial intelligence, robotics, biotechnology, renewable energy, and smart cities.
For instance, Atomic Minerals Directorate (AMD), a premier organization in the field of nuclear science and mineral exploration, presented their latest advancements in mineral exploration and nuclear technology, contributing to India's strategic growth in these areas.
The Expo served as a platform for scientists, researchers, entrepreneurs, and students to interact, exchange ideas, and forge collaborations. It stimulated innovation, encouraged networking with potential investors, and inspired the next generation of innovators.
The success of BHARAT PRIDE 2022 can be attributed to the meticulous planning, dedicated efforts, and the active participation of organizations that showcased their scientific achievements. The CSIR Pavilion at BHARAT PRIDE, National Science and Industrial Expo 2023, has been honored with the prestigious Best Pavilion Award. CSIR, which stands for the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research, presented a remarkable display of its latest research findings in the fields of biotechnology and chemical sciences. The CSIR Pavilion became a focal point for visitors as they witnessed the groundbreaking programs and achievements of various CSIR labs. The CSIR Pavilion featured the participation of renowned labs such as CDRI (Central Drug Research Institute), IIP (Indian Institute of Petroleum), CIMAP (Central Institute of Medicinal and Aromatic Plants), CLRI (Central Leather Research Institute), NEERI (National Environmental Engineering Research Institute), IMMT (Institute of Minerals and Materials Technology), and IICT (Indian Institute of Chemical Technology). These labs showcased their ongoing projects and research initiatives, providing visitors with a glimpse into the cutting-edge work being carried out in their respective fields.
Furthermore, the Expo witnessed the presence of other prominent organizations that exhibited their groundbreaking contributions. ECIL (Electronics Corporation of India Limited), a leading electronics company, showcased its latest innovations in space technology and security systems. NFC (Nuclear Fuel Complex) presented its advancements in nuclear technology and the production of nuclear fuel. MECL (Mineral Exploration Corporation Limited) displayed its state-of-the-art techniques in mineral exploration, while IMD (India Meteorological Department) showcased its latest advancements in weather forecasting.
NIOT (National Institute of Ocean Technology) highlighted its research findings in the fields of oceanography and marine technology, while BPCL (Bharat Petroleum Limited) exhibited its advancements in the fuel sector. SCCL (Singareni Collieries Company Limited) demonstrated its latest innovations in the mining industry. NCSM (National Council of Science Museums) created an interactive exhibit that engaged visitors in a fun and informative way, promoting science and technology education. NIEPID (National Institute for the Empowerment of Persons with Intellectual Disabilities) showcased its research findings on assistive technology for individuals with disabilities. Additionally, the Department of Science, Technology and Environment, Puducherry, set up an exhibit to highlight its initiatives in sustainable development and environmental protection.
AnuragSat, a satellite designed and built by students of Anurag University, took center stage at the Expo, emphasizing the remarkable efforts of students in creating a nanosatellite called CubeSat and a CanSat.
In addition to the exhibits, BHARAT PRIDE offered an array of workshops, panel discussions, and keynote speeches delivered by experts in various fields. These sessions provided valuable insights and fostered knowledge exchange among visitors, industry professionals, entrepreneurs, and researchers. The event served as an exceptional platform for networking and collaboration, enabling attendees to stay abreast of the latest advancements in science and technology.
Overall, BHARAT PRIDE's National Science Technology Industry Expo was a resounding success, attracting participation from leading organizations across the country. More than two lakh visitors from all walks of life have visited the Expo and many School Students and Research Scholars and Graduates have interacted with eminent Scientists and it is observed they were taking Notes and recording the Videos. They all expressed extreme happiness and felt highly motivated.
